AS A DESIGNER, FOR ME IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PEOPLE, ABOUT TURNING USER DRIVEN OPPORTUNITIES INTO MEANINGFUL AND VALUABLE EXPERIENCES. IT’S NOT ONLY ABOUT BEAUTIFYING, BUT ABOUT STRATEGIC THINKING, INTUITION AND DEVELOPING BREAKTHROUGH INSIGHTS THAT WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY AND OUR FUTURE. IT’S ABOUT KNOWING HOW TO LISTEN AND HOW TO OBSERVE, ABOUT REFRAMING A PROBLEM AND TRANSLATING THAT INFORMATION INTO REAL WORLD APPLICATIONS, WHICH CAN BE A PRODUCT, A SERVICE, OR SOMETHING IN BETWEEN. IT’S ABOUT BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION, BUT IT SHOULD ALSO BE A LEVER FOR POSITIVE SOCIAL IMPACT.

I am motivated, determined and energetic. I put a lot of effort in the things that I enjoy doing and I have an insatiable curiosity, which means that I’m constantly trying to improve myself.

How does this translate to design? What I don’t know, I will learn. And I will only do something if I can do it well (of course, there are some exceptions, like playing tennis!).

DRIVEN

I am an explorer, a person who enjoys trying new things. The world has a lot to offer, and it is waiting for us to discover it.

How does this translate to design? My exploratory mind-sets allows me to continuously scout for new opportunities and to be comfortable with the ambiguity of the creative process. I enjoy bringing other perspectives into the creative process.

EXPLORER

My empathy allows me to sense other people's emotions and connect with them. My motto is treat everyone as you would like to be treated, and I believe you can learn something from everyone.

How does this translate to design? My ability to connect with the user and understand their needs and wishes allows me to envision new user centered experiences. There is no design without a clear understanding of who you’re designing for.

EMPATHY

After having lived in 5 different cities in 3 different countries, and in multicultural environments, I’ve become a highly adaptable and open minded individual. I’ve learnt that things are not better or worse, they’re just different and we need to learn to appreciate the uniqueness in every life experience.

How does this translate to design? My multidisciplinary background plus my ability to adapt means that I’m not scared of new projects, disciplines and teams.
